Dr. Karsten Lesemann is a specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery with a unique combination of medical expertise and personal experience in competitive sports. His career as a competitive athlete in American football, including successes with the U20 national team and in the 1st Bundesliga, gives him a deep understanding of the stresses and injuries associated with sports. He had to end his professional athletic career early due to injuries.

He completed his professional training primarily in trauma surgery at the Berlin Accident Hospital, where he worked as a specialist for several years. During this time, he was able to take over and expand the field of foot and ankle surgery, focusing particularly on post-traumatic injuries. Today, he is a partner in the joint practice “Dr. med. Lesemann & Dr. med. Schmidt.” Thanks to his comprehensive training and qualifications, including expertise in foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Lesemann offers his patients excellent care – from the initial consultation to complex surgical procedures.

As a doctor, it is important to him not only to address his patients’ acute injuries but also to ensure their long-term quality of life and mobility.
